Toshio Asaeda   (1893 - 1968)

Toshio Asaeda (1893 - 1968) lived primarily in California and studied with Hans Hofman in the early 1930's at the University of California Berkeley. These watercolors may have been done during his internment at the Topaz Relocation Center during WWII. Asaeda is best known for his 1932 watercolors of the Galapagos Island fish.
