From a series of 100 gift prints made by Lillian Miller in 1938 for the Honolulu Print Makers. This is actually a highly unusual lithotint, a technically difficult sumi-e like image produced by brushing touche, a liquid form of the lithographic crayon, on the plate. It is said to be particularly unusual to have produced even more than a dozen prints in this way from a plate. Includes the original description from the Honolulu Print Makers.
