The phrase "my heart is like the autumn moon" is brushed many times on Enso in Japanese. The phrase is about the fullness of the "harvest moon" or in Japanese terms the "Autumn moon". It is the association of the pure, bright and full element which one feels their spirit or "heart" being. This is one of very few which has an English inscription. Stevens Sensei has shown in this the bridge between east and west in Zen.
