19th century cobalt blue Peking Glass bowl. The bottom of the bowl shows the orange peel of a glass work produced by pushing the glass into a mold. The foliate edge has alternating points. The inside of the bowl is fluted. Scratched letters on the bottom spell "China", probably trying to conform to the US customs requirement at the end of the 19th century that all imports must have the name of the country from which they have come.
