18th century Tibetan gilt bronze image of Padmapani. This small and elegant sculpture in gilt bronze is the image of Padmapani standing with a lotus rising beside his left arm. The mondorla of fire rings the back of his head and above his elegant and exquisite coif. Padmapani is a Tibetan form of Avalokitashvara. This small figure is an especially fine example of elegant form.
