This original oil painting on canvas shows waves crashing up to a rocky coast. Many surfers will recognize this location as Kaiko's (Kaikoos), a popular surf spot next to Cromwells, by the Doris Duke residence at the bottom of Diamond Head. It's been restored to camouflage craqueleur which is visible upon very close inspection. It is mounted to board for strength and stability and has a black lacquer frame with linen liner.
