This early 19th century Sino-Tibetan copper repousse implement case has a design of spiraling reticulated dragons, bordered on each end with a key fret design. Each end has a vajra finial. This case could be used to carry a writing implement and brush. It would be tied together with a cord and worn along the belt. It would have been the property of a lama.
