A beautiful engraving of Queen Tamehamalu, wife and half sister of King Kamehameha II. This portrait is based on her appearance during a formal visit to the court of King George IV. Tragically, the royal couple lacked immunity to European diseases and died of the measles in 1824. "R. Cooper fc" below portrait.
